Hoping the title is self-explanatory. Can there be an option to use username/password to log in? The need to use an email link is quite annoying.

This has been on our todo for some time, but the key blocker is that we’re using Ghost for auth as well as for membership subscriptions and member management, and switching the auth means switching from Ghost, which is a lot of work.
So, this will not likely happen for some time, but it is on our todo — you’re not the only person who has complained about this. Sadly, it’s not the highest order bit.

Logging into the forum seems actually possible with username & password. I do it all the time. Might be a leftover from 2022 when I signed up, not sure.
